Portland City Guide

Portland never gets old, it’s always such a fun city to visit, even for the weekend. This time around we found some new spots and even made a couple new friends during our adventure (: Today we wanted to share with you a Portland City Guide we put together, including some of our favorite places to eat, drink and shop!

Tasty N Alder 580 SW 12th Ave, Portland, OR- This place looked amazing, but we, unfortunately, didn’t get to eat here. We were going to have brunch here one morning, but when we went the wait was two and a half hours and we were too hungry to wait that long. It’s definitely on the list for next time though!

Oven and Shaker 1134 NW Everett St, Portland, OR- We’ll probably always visit this spot on our future trips to Portland because it was so good. Not only do they have amazing drinks, but their pizza is out of this world!

Little Big Burger 930 NW 23rd Ave, Portland, OR– This delicious burger joint was recommended to us by our new friends at Cedar and Swoon and it did not disappoint!

The Society Hotel  203 NW 3rd Ave, Portland, OR– We would have loved to stay here, but they were all booked up for the weekend, unfortunately. Instead, we just visited their beautiful rooftop and had a delicious brunch at the in-house cafe, which has awesome food!

Salt & Straw 838 NW 23rd Ave, Portland, ORForever our favorite ice cream shop, nothing can compete (: And we’re super excited because one just opened in SF!

Good Coffee 1150 SE 12th Ave, Portland, OR– A new one for us and it turned out to be very good! No pun intended. I respected the fact that the barista asked me what kind of notes I was looking for in my espresso in order to choose what bean he should use for my americano.

Never Coffee 4243 SE Belmont St #200, Portland, OR– One of the most interesting coffee shops we’ve ever visited for sure. We recommend giving it a try, so go grab yourself a “Holy Grail” next time your in that part of town and see what you think!

Heart Coffee Roasters 2211 E Burnside St, Portland, OR– We didn’t get a chance to stop by this time around, but this place is really good!

Barista 823 NW 23rd Ave, Portland, OR– The one coffee shop we never leave Portland without visiting is this one! With locations all over Portland, it’s a great place to grab a coffee or even sit and chat for hours with new friends, such as these beautiful people! Be sure and check them out @cedarandswoon (:

Menagerie 2880 SE Division St, Portland, OR– The cutest airstream shop I’ve ever seen! Super aesthetically pleasing and you can’t help but walk out with something for yourself. Also, this place is located in one of Portland’s many food cart pods so you might as well grab a snack too, right? (;

Tender Loving Empire 525 NW 23rd Ave, Portland, OR– Stumbled upon this little shop and found some cool looking prints as well as some other neat stuff!

Vintage Vintage 2455 SE 11th Ave, Portland, OR– I’ve only ever seen pictures of the record section of this store on Instagram so I thought it was just a record shop, but turns out it’s all kinds of vintage stuff!

Portland Saturday Market 2 SW Naito Pkwy, Portland, OR– We like visiting different markets so this was a fun little experience for us and we came across some pretty cool vendors. Plus, the market is located along the waterfront which makes for a nice walk on a Saturday morning!

Powell’s City of Books 1005 W Burnside St, Portland, OR– Can you really visit Portland without visiting this amazing bookstore?

Bridge & Burn Flagship Store 1122 SW Morrison St, Portland, OR – A really cool store with some really great clothing!

Work / Shop 1024 NW 19th Ave, Portland, OR– Not only is this a neat little shop to find gifts and fresh flowers, but you can also sign up for one of the many classes they offer on things such as calligraphy, centerpiece arranging or soap making, etc!

Well, that wraps up our Portland City Guide, we hope you enjoyed it! If you have any places you think we should try, let us know in the comments (:
